New Jersey Appellate Division rules that testimony from a
complainant or defendant in a domestic violence case heard in Family
Court can now be used for impeachment purposes in a subsequent criminal, finding that the statute barring the use of such testimony
was deemed to be improper on confrontation clause grounds.
